Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc. is a real estate brokerage, valuation and consulting firm founded by Theodore W. Slack in Miami in 1959. Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc., enjoys a long-established reputation for integrity and competence throughout the legal, financial and business communities. The company's worldwide headquarters are located in Miami, Florida. Our primarily service area covers most of southern Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. Appraisal Services and Code of Ethics
Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc. prepares a variety of appraisal and consulting analyses for both domestic and foreign clients. Our clients include individuals and corporations, as well as local, state and federal agencies. Additional valuation services include market and feasibility studies, all types of litigation valuation (bankruptcy, eminent domain, foreclosure, civil and criminal litigation), investment counseling, tax assessment appeals and other services.
Appraisal reports and assignments are prepared in conformance with the requirements of the Code of Professional Ethics and the Standards of Professional Practice of the Appraisal Institute, as well as the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Appraisal Foundation. Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc. also has extensive experience in meeting the requirements of the Uniform Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (Yellow Book), Florida Department of Transportation Supplemental Standards of Appraisal and the Supplemental Appraisal Standards for the Board of Trustees of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
The Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc. Team
The firm maintains additional company standards of quality and excellence beyond that required by the Appraisal Institute and Appraisal Foundation. All appraisal reports and assignments are prepared directly or closely supervised by Andrew H. Magenheimer, MAI, and all associates are Members of the Appraisal Institute and/or Florida State Certified General or Residential Real Estate Appraisers. Personal involvement in the preparation of appraisal assignments is a long-standing policy of the principals of Slack, Johnston & Magenheimer, Inc. Mr. Magenheimer is a native Miamian and has been active in commercial real estate appraising and consulting in South Florida for over 30 years. Mr. Magenheimer's experience includes a variety of residential and commercial property types, as well as aeronautical property.
